Albatross ace for Eamonn Long

Young golfer Eamonn Long, a six-handicapper, has made an astonishing hole-in-one on the par-4 14th hole at Mount Wolseley for an albatross.
The 18-year-old made the incredible hole-in-one in the the CARLOW GAA Supporters event at a hole measuring 321 yards.
It was an accomplishment witnessed by his fourball partners John Thompson of Borris Golf Club, Brian Deering from Baltinglass and Pat Ahern of Carlow Golf Club.
Long was using his Ping i15 driver when he recorded the ace.
Last week Golf Monthly reported how student Mike Bristow made a hole-in-one on a par 4 at Wycombe Heights and it seems making a prolific ace on a par 3 is no longer the thing to do.
