FootJoy, the number one shoe and glove in golf, was once again confirmed as the overwhelming brand of choice amongst the competitors at the 2012 Glenmuir PGA Professional’s Championship.

The eventual winner was Welshman Gareth Wright, whose magnificent seven-under-par 65 in the final round of the tournament proved too much for his rivals to contend with.

As the tournament continues to go from strength-to-strength, FootJoy’s status as the clear market-leaders in the shoe and glove sectors was also reiterated. A total of 118 competitors out of a field of 156 chose to compete in a wide variety of styles from FJ’s comprehensive range, including the flagship FJ ICON, to the all-new XPS-1TM.

FJ also dominated the glove count throughout the week, with 76 out of 156 players relying on the superior comfort, grip and performance of a selection of styles, including the outstanding comfort and grip of the FJ Pure Touch to the ever-popular and dynamic FJ SciFlex.

“The success at the PGA Professional’s Championship continues a magnificent season for FootJoy as support and usage across all levels of the game continues to flourish,” said Russell Lawes, FootJoy’s European Marketing Manager.
