Celtic Manor introduces luxury holiday lodges

The Celtic Manor Resort is set to boost its accommodation offering by spending £4.3m on ten new luxury holiday lodges.

The new high-specification structures - which will open in time for Easter 2014 - will all sleep up to eight people in four double or twin bedrooms.

The large log cabins, known as Hunter Lodges, will offer fantastic views across the Usk Valley while overlooking the Twenty Ten Course's 16th and 17th holes.

The lodges are aimed predominantly at families looking to embark on leisure and activity stays.

Guest will also be able to make use of Celtic Manor's restaurants, bars and family facilities, including adventure golf, indoor swimming pools, laser combat, archery and more.

The lodges will all have open-plan living areas, a sauna and outdoor decking, as well as lounge, dining and kitchen spaces.

"These high-quality lodges are aimed at families who want the space to kick back and relax for a few days or a week," said Ian Edwards, Celtic Manor's Chief Operating Officer.

"These family lodges offer a different style of luxury break and experience for our customers.

"We know how hard our guests work to enjoy their leisure and holiday time, so these lodges will be built to the resort's five-star standards to ensure they have everything they could wish for while they are here.

"The lodges will be a very flexible asset to our accommodation portfolio and enhance our reputation as one of the UK's leading resorts."
