Stoke Park has announced the launch of the Jonathan Yarwood Golf Academy, which will provide a variety of teaching services in all areas of the game.
JYGA create personal development in all areas, utilising the latest player technology, techniques, drills and exercises, working with all levels of players from beginners to Tour.
Chester King said: "The combination of our five star facility and the Jonathan Yarwood Academy will take our golf coaching to the next level of excellence."
Stoke Park already have existing junior programmes and the Academy will build on this foundation to create future champions. Along with this, Stoke Park are also developing specific golf fitness programmes for improvement to continue. Many lessons are conducted using video analysis and everybody receives a DVD or email of the lesson, with print-outs of changes and a series of drills.
All JYGA coaches undertake an eight-month training programme before certification and it is only the most professional and attentive who make it through.
Jonathan Yarwood has a tremendous track record - one US Open champion, two US Amateur champions (including Ben An in 2010, the youngest winner in history), two US Girls champions - with one being the youngest ever. Jonathan Yarwood also boasts five USGA titles, as well as four number one-ranked US juniors, three AJGA players of the year, and a winner on every major Professional Tour.
