Team places are now available for the 26th Golf Foundation Pro-Am, which will be held at the London Golf Club on October 8, 2012.

The Pro-Am is supported by the European Tour and will be held at one of the country's most popular golfing venues at the London Golf Club's Heritage course, designed by Jack Nicklaus.

Teams of three amateurs will be supported by a Tour professional for a Stableford better-ball competition which features a range of prizes and on-course challenges.

Attractions include a champagne breakfast before a shotgun start, dinner and a charity auction and raffle.

All money raised on the day will go towards the HSBC Golf Roots programme, the Golf Foundation's national strategy to make the game more accessible to children from all backgrounds and abilities.

Sarah Tennyson, marketing manager of the Golf Foundation, said: "The Foundation's Pro-Am has become a highlight of the season for many business people.

"It is a great networking occasion where you can make firm friends in the golf industry, and playing in the event itself is always exciting because the day is so well set up by our supporters at The European Tour."

Bookings for the Golf Foundation Pro-Am are £1,200 per team. To find out more about booking a team, call 01992 449830 or see golf-foundation.org
