STUBS Charity Golf Challenge Day comes to Hazlemere in May
The STUBS Charity Golf Challenge Day will take place on May 5 at the Hazlemere Golf Club
The Hazlemere Golf Club will be hosting a charity golf tournament in collaboration with STUBS next month to help raise money for injured servicemen and women.
The STUBS Charity Golf Challenge Day, which takes place on May 5, is part of the STUBS organization and its mission is to aid military personnel as they go through rehabilitation.
The event, which is being supported by the Dallaglio Foundation, will have many professional athletes in attendance such as rugby coach and Patron Sir Ian McGeechan OBE, and members of The London Wasps Rugby Team have committed to helping out with the cause.
The price of admission is £180 for a four-person team or £49 for single entry (single players will be teamed up). This entry fee will pay for breakfast featuring rolls and coffee, 18 holes of better ball golf, a post-match buffet, an auction featuring sports memrobilia and an award ceremony.
There will also be the chance to compete in a hole-in-one contest where the winner could win new car.
The location of the club is located on the border of High Wycombe in the Chiltern Hills. For more information, go to stubs.org.uk
