Tiley wins TP Tour event after play-off
Steven Tiley came out victorious in a three man play-off to win the TP Tour event in Surrey.
Steven Tiley has won the TP Tour event at Worplesdon Golf Club after coming through a play-off against Australia's Daniel Gaunt and Welshman Liam Bond.
The European Tour professional hit a birdie two on the first play off hole, the 174-yard par 3 4th, to win the event ahead of his two rivals.
Tiley, who is a member of the Royal Cinque Ports Golf Club, fired a one under par score of 70, to enter into the three-man play off.
Recent conditions had made the Worplesdon course exceptionally tough, with just the three players in T1 place posting under par scores.
Gary Emerson, James Sheffield, Luke Cornford, Ryan Harrison, Lee James and Gary King all finished T4 shooting level par rounds.
Tiley picked up £1,200 in prize money, as the TP Tour moves onto Moor Park Golf Club, Herts, for the next event.
