That means the eyes of the golfing world for this week are firmly focused on Scotland and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Now in its 15th year the event is one of the most lucrative on Tour and the field is usually very strong because of that.

Last season the event was won by Oliver Wilson as he finally claimed his first European Tour victory having come so close in previous tournaments. You can get him at 250/1 to repeat the feat.

Two previous winners are the favourites with Martin Kaymer and Branden Grace both available to win at 16/1.

We managed to pick Bubba as an each way bet last week, and hope to do the same again here this week.

Alfred Dunhill Links Championship Golf Betting Tips advised bets

Luke Donald £2.50 each way at 28/1 with Bet365  Surprisingly has only played in the tournament three times. But has an awesome record, with three top 10 finishes including 3rd in 2004. Is having a solid if unspectacular season so far in 2015. His links play is always decent and a Tied 13th at this year’s Open as well as a tied 7th at the Scottish Open shows he knows his way around a Links better than anyone.

Marc Warren £1.25 each way at 50/1 with Betway  Has had a very solid season and will be hoping to cap it off with a good performance here in his homeland. Another player who can dominate Links courses. Has had a best finish of 5th here back in 2011.

Rafael Cabrera Bello £0.75 each way at 100/1 with Coral An up and down season for the Spaniard looks to be heading in the right direction now - surprised his odds are this long. Finished 4th in this event in 2009.

Craig Lee £0.50 each way at 300/1 The Scotsman is rightly an outsider, but is on the brink of being able to keep his card for 2016. Played all four round here last season in finishing 42. Has had three Top 10 finishes this season on Tour, but will have to up his game in a field of this class, lets hope he can do just that.
