Lee Westwood

So, he's back on top of the world after his recent win, but Westwood is not good value at 6/1. He responded well last week after a disappointing time with the putter at the Masters. However, a stronger field has gathered in South Korea for the Ballantine's Championship so these odds offer little appeal.

Jeev Milkha Singh is our firest selection. A few seasons ago you wouldn't have got 33/1 on this man, but he suffered a long dip in form. Last week's -17 doesn't tell the full story as he posted two 66s on Thursday and Friday, which suggests he may be rediscovering his touch.

Staying with last week's form, Jamie Donaldson is our second selection at 40/1. His tied 7th included a second-round 61 and he's been knocking on the door for some time. Normally we'd also have a little flutter on Simon Dyson, but we were more encouraged to see Gareth Maybin back in contention last week. Only a 72 in round three let the Ulsterman down, but we're very much liking the 50/1 offered by Ladbrokes.

Advised bets for the Ballantine's Championship:

3 pts each-way on Jeev Milkha Singh at 33/1

2 pts each way on Jamie Donaldson at 40/1

2 pts each way on Gareth Maybin at 50/1
