Ballesteros on the mend
Seve reassures his fans that he's on the mend following fainting scare
Seve Ballesteros has reassured fans that he is on the mend following a loss of consciousness that saw him admitted to hospital on Monday.
The five-time Major winner, undergoing routine tests, is expected to be discharged at some point on Friday.
"I wish to inform that I am feeling very well," Ballesteros told his official website.
"I am awaiting the results of the tests that I have been going through."
The Spaniard was forced to retire in 2007 after suffering long periods of arthritic back and knee pain.
He added: "I wish to personally thank all of those who are concerned about my health condition.
"I want you to know they make me feel very good and I feel greatly supported by all of you."
