Bedale GC is our Course of the Week

With great value green fees and a stunning setting Bedale Golf Club is somewhere to aim your trolley towards. One of the oldest tracks in the county, this definitely qualifies as one of Yorkshire's hidden gems.

At the northern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Bedale is set in beautiful countryside. Lined by mature trees and traversed by a winding brook, this is an inland track of some quality.

Course lowdown: You?ve got to drive the ball well here. Getting into the correct position for approach shots is crucial. There?s out-of-bounds on a number of holes and it?s always to the right so a slice is not good. The greens are well bunkered but they are receptive so accurate iron shots will be rewarded.
