The leading two European Tour Members in the 2007 HSBC European Tournaments Ranking will qualify for the HSBC World Match Play. Anders Hansen’s win in the BMW PGA Championship has given him a great opportunity to qualify for the event. His two victories in the BMW PGA suggest he is perfectly suited to the West Course.

The rankings are accumulated from official World Golf Ranking Points earned from the HSBC Champions, Abu Dhabi Golf Championship, Johnnie Walker Classic, BMW PGA Championship, BMW International Open, Open De France ALSTOM and the Smurfit Kappa European Open.

A 16-man field will compete over the West Course of the Wentworth Club between 11-14 October for £1 million, the richest first prize in golf.
