ISPS Handa Wales Open golf betting guide
This week the European Tour have travelled to wonderful Wales and to the host course of the 2010 Ryder Cup matches Celtic Manor.
This week is also the first week that Ryder Cup points are award for the 2014 matches to be played at Gleneagles.
The course is never a pushover and accuracy from both tee and fairway are a must on this course with its huge water features.
Chris Wood at 33/1 with Ladbrokes, a risky bet from an inconsistent player this year on the European Tour, since his win in January it has been boom or bust. Finished Top 15 here last season so has previous on this course.
Brett Rumford at 40/1 with Ladbrokes, has won twice this year already and was tied 6th last week. Finished Top 20 in this event last season as well, someone to look out for.
Thongchai Jaidee at 40/1 with Ladbrokes, the defending champion is playing some solid golf this season and had a top 20 finish last week. He is 18th on the Race to Dubai this season and has on one missed cut from 17 events.
Rafael Cabrera-Bello at 66/1 with Ladbrokes, has had a frustrating season, having not kicked on after an excellent 2012. His game should suit the Twenty-Ten course at Celtic Manor, and he looks a reasonable price for an each way bet.
Ricardo Santos at 125/1 with Ladbrokes, got off to a hot start this season but has been quiet of late, his green in regulation stats are decent which could help him this season. missed the cut last year after a poor first round, but at this price worth a look.
