McDowell targets Kaymer in Dubai

Golf Monthly previews the season-ending Race to Dubai this weekend in which Graeme McDowell poses the biggest threat to Martin Kaymer in the battle for the European Tour's number one spot. Plus, we've got exclusive pictures, interviews and opinion from Golf Monthly columnist and Ryder Cup star, G-Mac

Graeme McDowell

This weekend sees the 48-tournament Race to Dubai come to a close and Graeme McDowell's form in the past few weeks has asked a few questions of Martin Kaymer, who has seen his lead trimmed back by the Ulsterman.

Golf Monthly has had the pleasure of speaking to Graeme throughout his incredible season and we hope you've enjoyed reading his monthly columns as much as we've enjoyed getting his thoughts and opinions first hand.

We should have known back in September that G-Mac was going to run Kaymer close in Dubai as he joined us for a photoshoot at Breadsall Priory. You can read more about that day in December's issue of Golf Monthly but suffice to say that the headline for that piece, 'Attack the Flag', was fairly apt.

That G-Mac has €290,910 to make up on Kaymer speaks volumes about the German's own season whose four wins in 2010 included the USPGA at Whistling Straits.

So, heading into the Dubai World Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates, let's take a look at the two main men:
