Naomi House Children’s Hospice Charity Golf Day

South Winchester Golf Club to host 'Toppers' golf society's fundraiser for Hampshire hospice.

A charity golf day is being arranged by the "Toppers" golf society to raise money for Naomi House children?s hospice in Hampshire. The event will take place on April 4 at South Winchester Golf Club.

Upon arrival players will enjoy tea, coffee and bacon rolls. Tee off will be at 9am in the form of a fourball shotgun start. After the golf there will be a two-course carvery, a prize presentation and a charity raffle hosted by comedian Stewart Masters.

Manchester City FC has kindly donated a signed shirt, ball and day at Man City to watch a match and have a meal. Meanwhile Crown Golf has donated a fourball at St Mellion on The Nicklaus Course. Prizes in the raffle also include food hampers, a Sony DVD player, golf lessons and a golf bag donated by The Academy driving range in Eastleigh and a meal for two at The Concorde Club, Eastleigh. Mercedes Benz is offering a Smart Fortwo car as a hole-in-one prize.

A number of ex-Southampton FC players will be taking part and it is hoped that former England international Matthew Le Tissier will be available to participate. Radio 1's DJ Spoony has also confirmed that he will be playing.

The cost to take part is £50 and includes tea, coffee and bacon rolls upon arrival, 18 holes and the carvery. Tickets for the raffle will be sold on the day.
