Nedbank Golf Challenge betting guide

World number one Luke Donald heads to Sun City as the pre-tournament favourite for the Nedbank Golf Challenge this week.

3/1 to take the spoils in this 12-man field, where each-way bets will pay down to third place.

Donald has had a bit of a break since winning the US money list so it may be worth looking to someone who has played a bit more competitive golf over the last month.

There is sure to be a lot of money for Lee Westwood in this event and he is

7/2 with Ladbrokes.

Westwood is the defending champion here and has competed in the event numerous times over the last decade, something which none of his competitors can boast. In fact only one other player competing in this year's event featured last year.

If anyone is going to run him close I think it will be Germany's Martin Kaymer. At

5/1, Kaymer is in great form at the moment and played well in the Omega Mission Hills World Cup last week to finish second.

He also claimed the WGC-HSBC Champions event in Shanghai at the start of the month after a scintillating final round of 63.
