A new Ping driver has been spotted in play on the PGA Tour with a number of PING's staff professionals seen playing with what is rumoured to be the new Ping G20 driver

This may well be part of the next generation of the popular G range clubs.

Hunter Mahan has already been seen using the new Ping Anser wedges so it looks as though the giant golf manufacturers is set for a major new launch in the near future.

If it is to be the Ping G20, it will follow the success of the Ping G15 range.

The action on the PGA Tour this week comes from the St Jude Classic in Memphis where a number of Ping's staff professionals are in action including world number two, Lee Westwood.

With play set to get underway on Thursday and with players heading out for their practice rounds today, further news on PING's suspected new launch, specifically the G20 range, looks imminent.

Golf Monthly will be keeping a close eye on the players this weekend so watch this space....

We will, of course, have pictures of the new clubs as well as first impressions, when we can.
