David Horsey defends his M2M Russian Open title that he won in a play-off against Damien McGrane. The Englishman also recently won the Made In Denmark event and is not surprisingly the very short odds of 12/1.

Other well-fancied players include Maximilian Kiefer (10/1), Michael Hoey (14/1) and Bradley Dredge (14/1).

The course is different to last season as the tournament will be played at Skolkovo Golf Club, which is a Jack Nicklaus signature design located close to the centre of Moscow.

With the cream of the crop of European Golf either playing in America this week, or having a rest, it seems a good time for a first time winner on Tour.

As ever I will be giving you my picks for where you should put your hard-earned tenner this week.

Craig Lee £2 each way at 34/1 with Bet365 The Scotsman is having a frustrating year, with some good performances mixed with too many missed cuts. Is currently 122nd on the Race to Dubai and has work to do to keep his card for next season. Did finish T8th last week at the Czech Masters.

Edoardo Molinari £2 each way at 40/1 with Betway The Italian is still looking for a stand out performance for this season. But is one of the few players in the field who has some true stand out quality on his day. This could be his week to push on to greater things again.

Sam Hutsby £1 each way at 66/1 with Coral  A devastating player on his day, capable of tearing up any course. After many, many months in the doldrums he has made four consecutive cuts and is finally playing some solid golf again.
