The Saadiyat Golf Club, designed by golfing legend Gary Player, has added its latest initiative in the form of the Hawksbill Restaurant.
The comfort-built restaurant, with a terrace overlooking the 120-yard wide floodlit instruction area, provides perfect food for all occasions.
John Gunn, the director of food and beverage at the Saadiyat Golf Club, commented: "We really wanted to make a family friendly restaurant that had its own identity. The food is designed to please golfers and non-golfers alike with a wide range of mouth-watering dishes."
"The 140-seater restaurant offers a large and diverse range of food, with items from all corners of the globe featuring on the menu.
"With more than 60 dishes from around the world, I think you'll always find something you like."
The restaurant's interior is lavishly decorated with dark wood-panelled walls, tables and chocolate brown chairs that are contrasted by white ceilings and an abundance of natural light streaming through from the outdoor terrace.
The restaurant is being pitched towards corporate clients who can take advantage of its spacious garden terrace to host functions for up to 250 people.
The 18,000 square-metre clubhouse is scheduled to be completed in 2012 and will include a boutique hotel with 26 deluxe rooms, two restaurants, a spa and a pro shop.
