Tiger Woods has committed to play the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida next week as he looks to make his final preparations for the US Masters, the first Major of the season that gets underway in April.
It will be the 14-time Major winner's last event before the US Masters as he tries to get his game back on track before bidding for a fifth Green Jacket.
Bay Hill is one of Woods' favourite courses, having won four consecutive tournaments from 2000 to 2003, with his last victory coming in 2009.
Woods, who was in action this week in the Tavistock Cup, did not compete last year due to off course revelations about his personal life, but claims he watched from his home.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational will mark exactly two weeks until the beginning of the US Masters tournament and a return to form at Bay Hill is what the 35-year-old desperately needs following a run of average form.
Although there was little doubt Woods would not be playing at Augusta, he did also confirm on his website that he would be teeing up in Georgia.
