The European Tour heads to the exclusive Golf du Palais Royal course in Morocco this week for the Trophee Hassan II.
The field is pretty strong this week as it is the final European Tour event before the US Masters and players are attempting to get a last-minute call-up to appear at Augusta.
Edoardo Molinari 25/1 with Ladbrokes, still coming back from the injury which scuppered his 2012, he looks to be somewhere back to his best finishing 2nd last week in Malaysia. His best result last season was the T6th place finish at the Trophee Hassan II.
Rafael Cabrera-Bello 25/1 with Ladbrokes, is starting to be considered one of golf’s elite players and I am surprised to see him as long as 25s. A win here will mean he will make the field for the US Masters. Has been a solid performer this season if unspectacular, that could all change this week.
Andy Sullivan 40/1 with Ladbrokes, is an exciting talent who has catapulted himself into the limelight this season with three top 10 finishes. Finished 17th here in 2012. Also the the three previous winners of the event have been British.
Michael Hoey 50/1with Ladbrokes, the defending champion is this long odds due to a poor run of form in recent week. However his results of a win and a top 20 in 2011 say to me that he should be considered for an each way bet.
Robert Coles 125/1 with Ladbrokes, is the outside tip of the week, was tied 3rd here in 2012 and although not playing well this season is worth a cheeky each way bet at this price.
Trophee Hassan II advised bets:
2pts each way on Edoardo Molinari at 25/1 with Ladbrokes
2pts each way on Rafa Cabrera-Bello at 25/1 with Ladbrokes
2pts each way on Andy Sullivan at 40/1 with Labrokes
1pt each way on Michael Hoey at 50/1 Ladbrokes
1pt each way on Robert Coles at 100/1 with Ladbrokes
