The World Cup is the final WGC event of the year and will be played out in the beautiful setting of Barbados. Although some countries do not have their strongest two players competing the event still provides a refreshing change of format for the seemingly none stop professional golf tours. The format involves two days of four-balls and two days of foursomes. Last year the Welsh team of Steven Dodd and Bradley Dredge were surprise winners and the same two will be looking to defend the title. Six of the European Ryder Cup team will be playing, this includes England's representaives Luke Donald and David Howell and Irelands Padraig Harrington and Paul McGinley (pictured). America will be repreaented by Ryder Cup players Stewart Cink and J.J. Henry.

CONTENDERS: Sweden (Henrik Stenson and Carl Pettersson) and Spain (Miguel Angel Jiménez and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano)
