Rory McIlroy is hunting his third Race to Dubai win following successes in 2012 and 2014. He finished T6 at the first event of the Final Series at the Turkish Airlines Open and will be hoping to improve on that as he looks to secure the ultimate prize on November 22nd.

Jordan Spieth, Henrik Stenson and Rickie Fowler will also be in the field in Shanghai along with some more recognisable faces from the European Tour, including Soren Kjeldsen and Thomas Pieters.

McIlroy (5/1 at SkyBet) and Spieth (7/1 at Ladbrokes) are the favourites for the title at the Sheshan International GC.

WGC-HSBC Champions Betting Tips Advised Bets

Kiradech Aphibarnrat at 66/1 with Betway - He's in excellent form, with three top 5s in as many tournaments. He was just two shots off Victor Dubuisson's winning total in Turkey and could be a really good bet at 66/1 this week.

Anirban Lahiri at 50/1 with BoyleSports - One of the surprise packages of the European Tour, the Indian has won twice this year - at the Maybank Malaysian Open and the Hero Indian Open. He finished T5 at the USPGA Championship and T7 in his most recent event.

Marc Warren 200/1 with SkyBet - If the Scot could find some consistency he would be a real force. He's enjoyed some good results this year, including second place at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and T4 at the Scottish Open. Many of his other results haven't been as impressive, but if he can get into a strong rhythm this week he could contend.

Thomas Pieters 66/1 with Ladbrokes - He took everyone by surprise when he won back-to-back titles on Tour at the Czech Masters and the KLM Open. Since then he's had a respectable T6 at the Portugal Masters. At 66/1, he's worth a bet despite the strength of the field.
