Keegan Bradley 4 vs Marcus Fraser 13

Australian’s Marcus Fraser will face an uphill task against Keegan Bradley, with 39 places separating the pair in the World rankings. However, Fraser’s top 5 finish at the Dubai Desert Classic at the start of the month will give him some hope going into this week.

After initally failing to qualify for the event, Snedeker’s withdrawal allowed Frederik Jacobson to enter the draw. Top 10 finishes in his first two tournaments of February mean he heads into the tournament with encouraging form. Ernie Els will look to get his 2013 up and running after a slow start.

v Bill Haas 7 vs Nicolas Colsaerts 10

Bill Haas is the form player coming into the tie, with top 10 finishes in his last three tournaments. Colsaerts has had a poor start to 2013, but the big hitting Belgium showed in the Ryder Cup that he can be a tough matchplay opponent.

Sergio Garcia 3 vs Thongchai Jaidee 14

Both men have enjoyed solid starts to the year. Sergio Garcia will hope to use his vast matchplay experience to his advantage over Jaidee.
