Royal West Norfolk

North Norfolk is fantastic for a golfing break. With a host of wonderful courses within easy reach such as Royal Cromer, West Runton, Sheringham, Hunstanton, King's Lynn and Royal West Norfolk the only thing you have to worry about is where to stay. But this is no longer a problem...

The Ship Hotel is simply the place to stay in Norfolk. Having opened its doors in 2010 following a major revamp it sits beautifully in the coastal fishing village of Brancaster in the heart of the north Norfolk coast.

The hotel has nine beautifully designed luxury bedrooms that come with their own en-suite bathroom. These rooms are superbly decorated, each featuring unique furniture and artwork. It makes you feel you are being truly pampered in a unique setting.

You will also find a warm, inviting bar stocked with a range of ales and local beers. But its real star is the fantastic restaurant, which uses locally sourced produce to create some mouth-watering and memorable dishes. Be sure not to miss out on the Brancaster oysters - natural, tempura or grilled with spinach and parmesan butter.

And you don't have to stay at The Ship Hotel to appreciate what it has on offer, The hotel's Kiwi Fish Hut serves takeaway fish and chips for people to enjoy at their own home, or on Brancaster's beautiful beach.

The Ship Hotel is one of a number of popular gastropubs in north Norfolk owned by celebrity chef Chris Coubrough. The others are the Crown Hotel in Wells-next-the-sea, The Kings Head in Letheringsett, The Crown Inn in East Rudham and The White Hart Hotel in Hingham. All offer the same stunning experience as The Ship Hotel.

To enter simply go to The Ship Hotel website at shiphotelnorfolk.co.uk/golfmonthly and follow the instructions. The prize is a two-night DB&B stay (excluding drinks). Closing date for the competition is September 15th 2011.
