The Wirral Golf Classic, a 72-hole Stableford competition for club golfers, will be held on September 13-17, 2010, on four beautiful golf courses on England's Golf Coast - Caldy, Heswall, Wallasey and the magnificent Royal Liverpool.
All competitors will play each of the four courses, with one rest day. The main competition is an aggregate Stableford over four rounds, but there will also be daily competitions.
The Thornton Hall Hotel has been chosen by The R&A as its headquarters when The Open Championship returns to Wirral in 2014. More details of the hotel can be found at thorntonhallhotel.com.
Players must be aged 18 and over, with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for ladies. All must be members of a recognised golf club and must present a current and active handicap certificate on arrival.
To enter the Wirral Classic competition, you have to answer one Open-related question by clicking here.
