Nike Golf has created the limited edition Lunar Control footwear that will be worn by most of the Nike Golf athletes playing in The Open Championship later this month.

Nike have come up with a commemorative shoe designed for its athletes to perform on the sport's biggest stage.

Athletes wearing the shoe will be Paul Casey, Charl Schwartzel, Stewart Cink, Simon Dyson, Ross Fisher, Lucas Glover, Francesco Molinari, Stephen Ames, James Morrison and Scott Pinckney.

The footwear complements this season's Tour Performance apparel, providing the athletes head-to-toe style and tour proven performance.

The Open Championship limited edition Lunar Control is available to purchase at a selected number of retailers across the UK along with limited edition blue Method Concept putters and blue Swoosh 20XI balls.

"It's fun to do something special for our athletes - to help them enjoy this occasion and mark the moment," said Lee Walker, Nike Golf's Footwear Product Director.
