Benross VX Proto fairway wood
Benross VX Proto fairway wood review. Benross VX Proto golf fairway wood reviews
Both the standard 15º 3-wood and the 18º MAX 3-wood impressed here. While the added loft on the MAX version helps those with slower swing speeds, the standard loft flew long compared to other models. The sole design worked particularly well on a soggy day and even coped with shots that were hit slightly flat.
Why you can trust Golf Monthly
The generous head size has a wide body and large sole for forgiveness. The weight distribution within the head has been tweaked to help make the club more versatile and perform from the tee, fairway and rough.
The Benross VX Proto fairway wood should suit golfers who don't like large fairway woods, want all-round playability, and/or have a slow swing speed and want a higher flight.
