Above, Golf Monthly Technical Editor Paul O’Hagan gives his Adams Pro hybrids review.

The Adams Pro Hybrid – which incorporates tour preferences and elements from other award-winning hybrids – is designed to suit players of all skill levels.

The Pro Hybrid features a high-MOI upside-down head shaping, with patented Adams Velocity Slot Technology on the crown and a Cut-Thru slot on the sole.

The new Adams Pro Hybrid also boasts an ultra-thin face to add forgiveness and flex, making it easier to send the golf ball airborne.

In addition, a repositioned centre of gravity behind the centre of the face in designed to enhance workability for golfers who like to shape the ball.

“We refined the playability through numerous iterations so all players, from PGA Tour stars to recreational golfers, can replace their current hybrids with these easy-to-hit models,” said Michael Fox, Adams Golf’s Director of Global Product Management.

“Our player testing group raved about the forgiveness, but was also a quick to note an improvement in distance, compared to existing models.”

The Adams Pro hybrid family also comprises the Adams Pro Mini – for low-handicappers with high swing speeds – and the Adams Pro DHy, which follows on from the Super DHy.

All Adams Pro Hybrids are available at retail now.

The Pro Hybrid and Pro Mini are available in 16, 18, 20 and 23-degree lofts, while the Pro DHy comes in 18, 21 and 24 degrees.
