Ecco Women’s BIOM G2 shoe RRP: £185
Danish shoemaker Ecco has been producing golf shoes for some years now and the company has advanced their knowledge of what makes the ideal golf shoe to a point where their products are of the very highest quality, delivering just what the golfer wants and expects.
The Ecco Women’s BIOM G2 represents the pinnacle of Ecco’s technical evolution, featuring a range of technologies designed to offer comfort and performance on the fairways.
For a start, the shoe looks great. It’s a contemporary style but it gives a nod to the classic golf shoe design. The use of lively colours, both in detailing on the uppers and the lacing catches the eye without being overpowering, and the silver heel completes the look.
The use of Yak leather uppers mean the shoe is extremely soft and flexible, as well as being lightweight (18% lighter than previous BIOM shoes) and breathable – all attributes the golfer is looking for.
Hydromax technology means the shoe is extremely resistant to weather and perspiration while Natural Motion technology is designed to naturally mirror the foot’s shape for increased comfort.
The use of the BIOM last in construction also heightens the fit and comfort. It has been created based on 2,500 scans of feet to find the perfect fit – secure in the heel with a little more movement around the forefoot.
The cleated outsole is extremely durable and the Champ SLIM-Lok soft spikes provide great traction and stability.
Overall, this is a good looking and high performing shoe that will deliver great levels of comfort and support in all conditions.
