Hole 16 – Par 5 – 577 yards
This par 5 16th hole is the longest hole at Royal Liverpool, yet in the 2006 Open Championship it also played as the easiest hole seeing over 252 birdies. The tee shot must avoid the bunkers down the left hand side as well as steer clear of the thick rough on the right. The approach to the green is met with both a grass hollow and three greenside left bunkers.
