Following Henrik Stenson's amazing final round to win the 145th Open Championship, the world took to social media to pay tribute to his performance at The Open Championship.
Stenson is a popular man amongst his fellow players and so he wasn't short of messages of congratulations.
Sergio Garcia was one of the chasing pack on Sunday, eventually finishing in a tie for fifth and sent this tweet shortly after the tournament concluded.
Stenson also set records tumbling on Sunday at Royal Troon, one of which becoming the first male Swede to win a major championship.
Fellow Swede and major winner on the ladies circuit, Annika Sorenstam, paid this tribute on Instagram.
