Some images from the first practice day at Gleneagles as the USA team arrives and the Europeans undergo their Ryder Cup photocall
On Monday, all members of the European and American Ryder Cup teams arrived at Gleneagles ahead of the 40th biennial contest.
The USA team, captained by Tom Watson, arrived early on Monday morning at Edinburgh airport and were greeted by Paul McGinley.
Rickie Fowler also arrived sporting a new haircut with 'USA' shaved into the side of his head.
Some Europeans, like Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter, arrived at Gleneagles on Sunday, but the majority turned up seperately on Monday.
The likes of Poulter, McIlroy and Lee Westwood were seen practicing before the defending champions faced the hoards of photographers for their official photocall.
