The world's top 100 golfers are all scheduled to take part in the 96th USPGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky.

No Major Championship field has ever comprised every player from the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking, or equivalent ranking structure.

As it stands, there are 154 players in the field. These include defending champion Jason Dufner, Tiger Woods and Open Champion Rory McIlroy, along with 20 of the USA's top club professionals.

The PGA Professionals qualified via the PGA Professional National Championship, which took place last month in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

There are still two spaces up for grabs - for the winner of this week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational (if not already qualified) and Barracuda Championship (if not already qualified).

As it stands, the field includes 29 past Major Champions, 84 players from the USA and 70 international golfers representing 24 countries, from Australia to Japan.

The 2014 USPGA Championship takes place at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky from August 7-10.

The par-71 layout last staged the PGA Championship in 2000, when Tiger Woods defeated Bob May in a play-off to claim his fifth major championship.
