Hole 3 - Par 4 - 503 yards
After the simple second hole, the third is a brute. It played as the second-hardest hole during the 2005 PGA Championship which Phil Mickelson won.
At 503 yards, this dogleg-left par-4 requires a perfect drive or bogey looms.
Like the 10th at Augusta, a draw is favoured and will gain extra yards from a downslope in the fairway.
Thick rough and trees line the fairway on either side where players will be unable to carry the ditch that lies short of the green.
Two big bunkers lie short and right of the green and one guards the left side. The green has a ridge which feeds balls to the right.
The hardest pin here is back-left, with the hole on top of the ridge.
