Dartmouth G&CC continue to re-invest
Dartmouth continues re-investment despite global economic crisis
Dartmouth Golf & Country Club is pleased to announce the third phase of the extensive £½ million refurbishment programme, which will commence in January. Following the impressive results of their hotel refurbishment programme earlier this year, the club will be investing a further £150,000 in their food and beverage offerings at the club.
The revamped bar and bistro will be fresh and vibrant with a new layout, stylish furniture and contemporary furnishings… whilst ensuring the same highly acclaimed food and customer service.
The new comfortable interior will maximise the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valley and lakes. The results will create a laid-back atmosphere which gradually evolves as the day progresses. In addition, the plans also include a modern sports bar showing all the live sporting events.
Work will commence in January and will be completed within just 8 weeks. The club, which employs over 60 local people and is estimated to bring in over £3.5 million to the South Devon economy, are excited about the announcement which confirms the owner’s long term commitment to Dartmouth.
Jamie Waugh, Manager Director at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club says: “We are absolutely delighted to be re-investing in the fantastic product we have here in Dartmouth - despite the international economic downturn!”
We are certain that the results will enable the rest of our facilities to match the excellent quality of the hotel and golf courses – firmly establishing our place as Devon’s Premier Golf & Leisure Resort”.
