Gatton Manor

Gatton Manor Golf Club near Dorking in Surrey is gearing up for its 40th birthday celebrations with its own Pro-Am on July 8, 2009, which promises to be a fantastic event with a number of Top 25 PGA South Region golf professionals on show.

For £300 you can book your team of four, which will include a golf professional, as well as coffee and a bacon roll, a buffet lunch, a silent auction, and nearest the pin and longest drive competitions with some great prizes on offer.

The mature 18-hole woodland course was established in the late 1960s. Designed by renowned Canadian golf architect Commander John D Harris, and at 6,600 yards off the blue tees, the course will provide a stern test, with water coming into play on ten of the holes. The tree-lined fairway, streams and lakes will make for a great challenge with golfers required to use all their shot-shaping abilities to really score well.

The Gatton Manor 40th Birthday Pro-Am will also provide various sponsorship opportunities with a number of packages available. Entry forms are available online at gattonmanor.co.uk or for further details you can contact golf professional Ben Lovell on 01306 627555 (Option 1). Alternatively, you can email Proshop@gattonmanor.co.uk.
