In the city of Luxor, the 6,700-yard Royal Valley Course provides an enjoyable test, while at Sharm El Sheikh the Jolie Ville Course plays around 18 lakes and offers views of the Sinai Mountains.

The Cascades Course at the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort on the Red Sea near Hurghada boasts 18 holes designed by Gary Player and is the only links course in Egypt.

Founded in 1898, Alexandria Sporting Club is one of the oldest in Egypt. Playing over flat terrain this par-70 track covers 5,960 yards. Ten more layouts are planned, including a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus design near Cairo.
