The new Srixon Z 155 irons feature more swing weight in the head, which increases stability and kinetic energy for more distance and accuracy
Srixon has unveiled its latest set of irons, the Srixon Z 155 irons, which will complete the Z Series range by adding an option at the forgiving, game-improver end of the scale.
As you might expect, the Srixon Z 155 irons have many game-improver features, like confidence inspiring top-lines and forgiving cavity backs, however, there are also a few helpful additions you might not expect to find.
These include Srixon’s Action Mass technology and the introduction of the Tour V.T. Soles.
The Action Mass design combines a larger and more forgiving head that is hotter off the face with a new lightweight shaft option.
This combination places more swing weight in the head to produce greater stability and more kinetic energy at impact, for longer and more accurate shots.
As well as the high-strength steel faces and lightweight Nippon NS Pro 950 DST and Miyazaki Jinsoku shafts, the Srixon Z 155 irons feature the Tour V.T. Sole, as seen in Srixon’s better-player Z 945 and Z 745 irons.

This sole design both increases leading edge bounce, while at the same time decreasing trailing edge bounce, helping reduce turf interaction time by 43 per cent.
Because the head is moving through the ground for less time, you club head speed remains quicker, and the face is less likely to move offline, improving both your distance and dispersion.
Srixon Z 155 irons specifications
The Nippon NS Pro 950 DST steel shaft 5-PW set will retail at £499.
The Miyazaki Jinsoku graphite shaft 5-PW set will retail at £549.
